Connman Report week of Feb 19th

Well, it has been a week since our big NWA On Fire live event at the Rumford Armory in Rumford, Maine took place, and from the bottom of my heart and everyone else associated with NWA On Fire, we thank the folks of the Hope Association for being superb hosts. In my two years with NWA On Fire, I can’t remember a more gracious, giving host than the folks in Rumford. THANK YOU!
 
Now, to the fallout of what myself the NWA On Fire wrestling fans witnessed on Saturday night comes to light. And, I must say, there will be heavy dues to pay once we get back together for more live events in April.
 
First, to the NWA On Fire Heavyweight Championship. Just when you think champion Brian Fury can’t make you shake your head, he does something that I never thought I would see. Yes, Fury shaved Makua’s head, leaving the proud Samoan with a lot less hair than when he arrived in Rumford. This act is an insult to Makua’s heritage, and like I have asked before, why is the champion inciting the Samoan Warrior?
 
I spoke to Makua afterwards, and he vows to get his revenge

Fans, as you saw a couple weeks ago on NWA Wrestling On Fire television, the "Island Warrior" Makua came out to congratulate Brian Fury and throw his name into the mix of chasing the Heavyweight Championship.  

Well, at Valentine's Vendetta, Makua was set to battle an up and coming star, the "Sure Thing" Mark Shurman, and out comes Brian Fury with a sneak attack.  Knocks Makua out cold with his Championship Belt.  Then drags him over to the corner and locks Makua into the corner.  

The war is only beginning between Makua and Fury.  What will happen?  When will they finally set the battle?  Stay tuned to NWA Wrestling On Fire television....
